We bought our first - and forever - home in July 2007. It's a 1971 ranch-style house that is chock-full of projects. Some we've already tackled, like the kitchen and breakfast room. Some we're still planning, like the master bathroom remodel. And some are in progress, like the new flooring we're installing in three different rooms.
Joey is an architectural draftsman, which comes in really handy when Lisa dreams up a new project. He's the one who figures out the details of our projects and knows when something is structurally impossible (or just flat out ridiculous). Lisa is a full-time "cubicle dweller" and part-time college student, in addition to coming up with crazy ideas for home improvement projects.
We live in a small town in Georgia with our 18 year-old daughter Ally, and these lovable creatures.
Gizmo joined our family in July 2007, right after we bought our house. Most days you'll find him napping on the couch or hiding his Milk-Bones from Rosie.
Theo has been with us for 12 years. He divides his time between the breakfast room, the back of the chair, and antagonizing the dogs. Occasionally he finds a few moments to grace us with his presence.
